Retractable Type Fall Arrester with Rescue Hoisting Facility
IKAR fall arresters with rescue lifting device (type HRA) are equipped with a winch unit. This winch unit can be easily engaged by a second person in case of rescue after a fall, e.g. in case of unconsciousness due to gases in shafts and channels.
In this way, the person involved in the accident can be rescued quickly and safely. The rescue lifting device has an integrated fall-absorbing function, as required by the new European harmonised standard EN 1496. The unit is completely closed and has no wearing parts. All parts are made of stainless steel, aluminium or impact-resistant plastic. With different rope lengths, the most suitable ICAR retractable type fall arrester with rescue lifting device is available for every application.
